In the Pacific Northwest, heading east can provide some of the best lake boating around. Destinations like Lake Chelan, Lake Billy Chinook, Lake Wenatchee, and Lake Crescent can provide great weekend getaways for fishing, water skiing and camping.

One of the most breathtaking sections of the Columbia River is the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic area beyond the Bonneville Locks and The Dalles. With expansive views of canyons, tree-lined mountains, waterfalls, and historic bridges.
